“Apple of the Eye” Psalm 17
Kathleen calls in from the road as she travels back from a retreat. Jean invites us to reflect on the words of David, asking God to keep him “as the apple of the eye.” God sees you and lovingly fixes His divine gaze upon you, as the reflection seen in the pupil of a human eye. God also guards you as a person will guard and protect the pupil of his own eye.
